"Everyone is creative; it is part of your inherent nature. The problem lies in how much your creativity has been nurtured and encouraged compared to how it has been repressed and hindered".

Not only does Groenemann believe we are all creative, but she is also convinced that getting in touch with that creative part of yourself is a necessary part of developing self esteem, healthy relationships, and finding your life purpose...in other words, in living a full and fulfilling life.

The Creativity workshops that Groenemann has both designed and facilitates will guide you in recovering and nurturing your own creative energies. Workshops focus on identifying creative blocks and then learning techniques for moving beyond those blocks. Participants learn to "consciously experience" nature and all that is in their environment. They learn to utilize all five senses in giving focused attention to the daily experience of life. Groenemann teaches the importance of "seeing metaphorically" and the insights this brings to one's life. Through a dynamic use of a combination of creative exercises which include drawing, painting, creative visualization, journaling and poetry, participants learn to "see" in a new way that ultimately enhances the quality and productivity of their lives. These workshops are full of exciting surprises!

In Through the Inner Eye, award winning painter, poet, and teacher, Jan Groenemann provides you with a means of seeing beyond the surface of life, to penetrate realities that underlie experiences, to "see" things as they are.

Richly illustrated with the author's "poetic paintings," Through the Inner Eye is both an affirmation of the power of the creative spirit and a guide book for connecting with it.

Her step-by-step exercises will bring you into contact with your own creative power and provide you with a means for enhancing it. Her goal is to help you learn how to experience life with faith, without fear, as you learn to see and open yourself to the messages and insights that your life offers to you.
